May 15th – Thrasher Park, Norcross

On Saturday May 15th at 6 pm in newly refurbished Thrasher Park in Downtown Norcross bring your dinner and relax to the music presentation of the Pinckneyville Middle School Music Department. Enjoy Pinckneyville Pops, with the Pinckneyville Middle School Pops Orchestra. The program will include a night of popular tunes showcasing students from the Band, Chorus, and Orchestra programs. 

The Music Department will be hosting a bake sale with all profits going to the VH1’s Save the Music, a non-profit that helps restore music programs in low income area. This event furthers the IB Community and Service efforts of the PMS Music Department. Pinckneyville is a IB World-School, and this event fulfills the Community Service Project for the PMS Music Department.

May 15 – 2nd Annual Charity Shrimp & Catfish Boil – Grayson

Held at Hail Mary Sports Pub at 1950GraysonHighway in Grayson the event runs 4 pm to 6 pm or 6 pm to 8pm. Each seating includes a shrimp & catfish low county boil, salad, bread and liquid refreshments. Proceeds benefit the Friends of Gwinnett County Senior Services’ senior meals programs. May 15 & May 16 is the First Annual Atlanta Asia Festival – Duluth

Held at Gwinnett Place Mall the festival includes a wide variety of food sampling form different Asian countries. Live performances by local Asian artists and Asian celebrities will be there representing Korea, Vietnam, Japan and China. The event benefits the Holt’s International Children’s Services.
